The Role

The Senior Copywriter / Editor will manage a team of copywriters in the UK and abroad, producing collateral for a wide range of technology clients including voice and data communications, networks, computer hardware / software, CRM and e-business applications. The Senior Copywriter / Editor will take personal responsibility for strategic customer content and video projects including research and copy, with editorial responsibility for the quality / integrity of all output generated by the team.

Specialising in text and video customer reference programmes, our client is a well-established marketing services agency working at the heart of the information technology and telecoms sector. Working with a range of blue chip clients around the globe it creates compelling sales and marketing collateral, insightful thought leadership, and powerful multi-media content and productions.

The Person

The Senior Copywriter / Editor will have a broad understanding of the hi-tech, IT and telecoms sectors, ideally gained in a client-side environment (e.g. BT, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Apple, IBM, etc.) or possibly an agency-side marketing role.

Most importantly, you will be capable of producing creative, error-free writing to the highest standard, and with impeccable attention to detail. With first class written and verbal communication skills, you will be comfortable dealing with clients at all management levels.

The Senior Copywriter / Editor will be self-motivated and results-oriented, and able to work alone and with the team to deliver to tight schedules and deadlines.
