Morgan Hunt are recruiting for a Business Transformation Programme - Project Manager, on behalf of our client, a well known Regulatory body. As a qualified project manager you will play a key role in the delivery of a programme of established projects that make up the organisations Business Transformation programme, to deliver the strategic plan. You will work as a corporate resource facilitating a number of existing in-house project teams to ensure individual project aims and outcomes are achieved. You will provide specific project management support to the Programme Manager and Programme Director, in respect of any project activity arising as a result of managing the programme itself.
You will work with the Programme Manager and others to establish the organisations longer term requirements in respect of project management skills, and develop suitable options for how these might best be met. When the approach is agreed you will play a key role in building capacity in respect of project management.
Experience/Skills Required;
*Prince 2 qualification, knowledge of Coverdale approach to projects, or a knowledge of a LEAN environment or equivalent is desirable
*Proven success and practical experience as a project manager working with transformational change projects/programmes in a public sector environment
*Knowledge or understanding of the workings of public sector organisations
*Experience of developing effective skills identification and transfer strategies for building organisational capability and capacity in project management
*Demonstrable high levels of organisation, efficiency, flexibility and the ability to prioritise
*Experience of using own initiative and working under pressure
*Proven success of meeting deadlines and managing internal stakeholders
