Our client is a leading Housing Association provider.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Our client is currently recruiting for the part-time position of Community Development Officer.
As Community Development Officer you will assist in the implementation and development of the Housing Association’s Regeneration Strategy and Investment Action Plan.
You will work with residents and local communities to develop opportunities for community investment with the Housing Association's area of operation.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential requirements for the role of Community Development Officer:
Experience of working with, and supporting, residents, resident groups and communities is essential as is experience of resident/ young people’s involvement and delivering projects within the community.
You must have the ability to develop and project manage community regeneration projects, incorporating the needs of community members and stakeholders, along side our client’s strategic aims, whilst demonstrating both monetary and social value.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is also an essential requirement of the role along with a flexible approach to working hours in order to achieve work demands and priorities.
As an essential car user you must have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
This position is based in Wakefield.
