Work Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Reports To: Partnerships Director

Primary Objectives:

The Post Has Three Primary Objectives:

• To support the increase in statutory income by £1million per annum for new and existing and services.
• To develop, maintain and work with existing resources managing the ‘start up’ phase of new projects.
• Develop comprehensive reporting monitoring and quality and evaluation systems in conjunction with the quality and evaluation leads, funder requirements and delivery teams embedding processes prior to handover of projects to delivery teams.

Person Specification:

Educational or Professional Qualifications:

• Minimum Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Educated to degree level or relevant experience.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

• A track record in securing significant funding and in income generation.
• Experience of business development and partnership working.
• An understanding of funding streams and opportunities for the charity sector.
• Experience of developing contacts in statutory funding institutions, with a view to promoting them and identifying income streams.
• Able to identify opportunities and drive through proposals that match service user needs with funding specifications to meet income targets.
• Experienced in managing substantial projects in terms of scope, geographical location and budget.
• Experience of managing initial project set up including policies, procedures and delivery frameworks. Ensure a comprehensive handover to service delivery staff.
• Can demonstrate effective cross departmental working maximizing resources
• Has experience in embedding processes that monitor and record high quality services demonstrating positive impacts of the lives of service users.
• Works cross departmentally, from initial project inception to project delivery including initial project set up.
• Can support proposal development and bid writing for new and existing services or is able to demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Excellent interpersonal and planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Demonstrating innovative and customer focused solutions approach and solutions.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Takes responsibility and is accountable.
• Experience of successful business development through partnerships.
• Demonstrable success in identifying, securing and running business deals.
• Working and engaging with a wide variety of people, from a range of organisations and backgrounds, adapting approach accordingly.
• Successful, results focused, partnership working.
