This popular North London based mainstream Primary School are looking for a general class TA to work within Year 5. You will be required to do some 1:1 LSA work with 3 children who need to focus on their work. This is a full time (Monday - Friday 8:15am-4pm) position in a mixed-age KS2 class.
The school has a forward thinking approach when it comes to educating their pupils. The staff use the method of motivating the pupils to learn for themselves, by adopting the use of a range of strategies, such as; providing exciting and stimulating lessons and encouraging children to rise to any challenges they find in class.
Applicant requirements:
Experience working with SEN children (ideally challenging behaviour)
Previous experience working in a Primary Schools setting and/or with KS2 children
This position is for an immediate start and for the rest of this academic year and would suit a graduate with previous SEN experience who is looking to gain further school based experience, perhaps before studying for their teaching qualification.
