Handle Recruitment are working with a leading Factual Production Company based in London who are recruiting an experienced Commercial Assistant to provide full support to the Commercial Director. You will assist in all aspects of sales and distribution including finding production funding for new content from broadcasters, sponsors, distributors and maximising revenues through theatric, broadcast, VOD, App and other distribution platforms.
The successful candidate will be organised, energetic, a self-starter, and have a good understanding of content licensing.
Duties
Complete support of Commercial Director including administrative tasks
Project managing business trips - scheduling meetings with clients and coordinating travel and hotel bookings to fit; preparing sales material needed for the meetings
Meeting preparation
Maintenance and upkeep of company Rights Database and contacts database
Drafting and responding to written correspondence
Creating and maintaining records of sales actions taken
Preparing and sending PR and marketing materials
Updating company websites, materials on Vimeo, You Tube etc, and social media presence
Frequent liaising with internal departments; film/TV/video/VOD distribution partners; on-screen talent
