Rugby High School is a successful 11-18 School with 792 students on roll.
The school requires a Science Technician to join our well-resourced Science Department. The Science Technician will provide an efficient and effective support service to teachers focused on the practical and technical aspects of the Science Curriculum. You will co-ordinate the use of practical resources, materials and facilities for teaching staff and students in the use of scientific equipment in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
You will have previous laboratory experience and/or a background in science along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The ability to work to tight deadlines and to communicate successfully with staff and students is essential.
GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English is essential. A level 3 Science qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
