Maths Teacher or 1;1 Tutor wanted for 1 Year Maternity Cover at Ofsted ‘Outstading’ School, NW London School

Due to a maternity leave, a new opportunity has arisen for dedicated and engaging Maths teacher or 1;1 tutor to join a renowned Maths faculty with a supportive Head of Department and Senior Leadership Team for the rest of the academic year. There is also a strong possibility of a permanent post for September 2014.

The Headteacher is also happy to consider a teacher who is just looking for 1;1 tuition work and will the share out the teaching timetable amongst the current department members by freeing up their tuition time they have each been covering.

The successful applicant will be responsible for both planning and teaching Maths at KS3 & KS4 and will have the opportunity to teach up to A-Level.  They will be able to create a stimulating learning environment and motivate their students. The ability to create and confidently communicate structured and methodical plans which will engage learners ranging from SEN to A level, is pivotal to the role.

The school is happy to consider applications from both experienced, fully qualified teachers as well as strong NQTs.

The school itself is an Osted ‘Outstanding’ mixed comprehensive school with over 1000 students on roll. Hourglass Education has a fantastic relationship with the school as we take the Headteacher on Overseas Recruitment Drives once a year.
