B2B Product Manager - Manchester - £45-50k - Permanent
Our client is a worldwide leader in its sector and manufactures products in a range of brands. They have a truly global presence within the B2B market and have a number of locations, including an office in Lancashire. Due to the need to further enhance its product offering and business competitiveness, they are looking for a Product Manager.
As a Product Manager, you will have full responsibility over the company’s global product portfolio. You will formulate full cradle to grave product strategy, including pricing, channel training, product lifecycles/ roadmaps, trend analysis while briefing senior management. This role will be based in Lancashire. The main objective of this role is to ensure that new product development s is in line with customer requirements. As these products are distributed internationally, it is essential that you have a good level of international acumen and experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong B2B product management experience, ideally with a knowledge of technical products
-The ability to lead the development and training for the "go-to market" plan
- Strong commercial acumen when developing a product portfolio and developing new products
- Skills in pricing and financial analysis
- A good understanding of the full marketing mix
- International experience
- Experience of developing value propositions, pricing and go-to market strategy
- Experience of managing the strategic direction of the product and product life-cycle into new market segments
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent
