Handle Recruitment are currently seeking a technical assistant to provide support to the Material Operations team at this large Entertainment Company based in London. You will be responsible for facilitating the sharing of assets with both internal colleagues and external customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience editing material, converting content into different file formats and uploading content using FTP sites and BOX.NET
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee screener video uploads to the content screening platforms (Mediapeers)
Manage internal DVD file screener library
Manage and process various internal screener requests
Basic clipping and trimming of screener files
Accessing various file/video sharing services used by 3rd parties
Tracking delivery of screeners/promo for MIPCOM/MIPTV
Proactively identify improved ways of working, through contributing to systems and platforms development
Provide on-going support to Material Operations team
Filing foreign and domestic DVDs and audio stems
Inputting master material onto in house rights database (DPS)
Key Qualifications / Experience:
Experience editing material and converting content into different file formats
Experience of; BOX.NET, FTP, iTunes, Office, DVD duplicators, uploading and downloading to the various/multiple system (YouSendIt, WeTransfer,DropBox etc)
Experience with various video software suites, to allow 'format shifting' and simple edits on viewing material
Some knowledge of broadcast tape and file formats to allow work to be booked with in 3rd party facilities companies
Good organisation skills, including time management and prioritisation
Experience of managing tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and process driven
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
Strong administration experience
Microsoft packages
Experience of working with in-house databases
