The BMA is an independent trade union and professional association for doctors with over 150,000 members.  We are looking for three key roles to join our high profile and busy Industrial Relations team:

Employment Advisor - (Covering Trusts in the West Midlands Region)

Employment Advisor - (Covering Trusts in the North Yorkshire Region)

Employment Advisor - (North England, M62 Corridor)

Successful applicants will:

Have a sound knowledge of employment law and significant experience of case management on employment issues gained through trade union, human resources or a legal background

Have extensive experience in advising/representing employees

Be strong and confident individuals with sound knowledge of employment law

Have excellent IT skills, self motivated and able to work from home

Knowledge of the NHS structure and major NHS issues is an advantage

Have access to a car and a current driving licence

The positions are home based which requires individuals to have a disciplined and self motivated approach to work. The successful candidates will be required to live within or close to the patch to represent doctors at the workplace; some evening and occasional weekend working may be required.

The BMA supply all IT and office equipment and provide training.
