An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced in house lawyer to head up the expansion of their European operations. Our client; a highly respected and innovative digital advertising company. They hold an enviable client portfolio of well known brands.
The company is now on the cusp of exciting European expansion plans and are looking for a seasoned lawyer with strong direction and liaising abilities. The prospective candidate will be responsible for dispensing legal advice for country managers across the European operations including jurisdictions based in: Sweden, Italy, Spain, Germany France and the UK & Ireland.
The candidate:
* An experienced and well versed lawyer that has a proven record within an in-house position, preferably a social media/digital marketing background.
* Fluency with legal drafting in English is a prerequisite - additional drafting skills in another European language preferably French or German would be desirable.
*Licensed to practice law in the UK OR in any of the EU jurisdictions of: Spain, Germany, French or Italy.
*A strong working knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations, IP, contractual issues in regard to international expansion and competition law would be a strong advantage.
