The Surrey Family Support Programme is an innovative multi-agency project that addresses the Governments commitment to support 120,000 troubled families nationally by 2015.

The families referred to the Woking programme will meet certain key programme referral criteria around crime and offending, school attendance, exclusions and adult unemployment. There may also be many underlying complex and multiple needs relating to mental and physical health, parenting capacity, domestic abuse and substance misuse that can implicate heavily on family life, safety and functioning. The purpose of the programme is to co-ordinate expertise and resources of multi-agency partners to unlock patterns of family dysfunction and put families back on a pathway to recovery within their local communities.

You will be experienced in providing administrative support in a busy people focussed service involving setting up multi-agency meetings, taking clear and accurate notes of meetings; keeping up to date and accurate performance and customer records. You will be able to use a range of IT to make work efficient and effective and you will be able to work on your own initiative, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

As this job involves access to sensitive information, successful applicants will be required to obtain a standard disclosure certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Assistance will be given by the Council and further details will be in the job application pack.
