Job description
To sell balloon flights over the telephone/internet, all office admin, and to promote market and expand Bailey Balloons, Oktocam [a related aerial filming business] & other related businesses.
We require an enthusiastic, committed person who is an excellent organiser, communicator and dynamic person who has the capacity and personality to be part of a small, very busy office in a friendly family-run business. Training on the ballooning side of the business and the database is given on the job.
Most sales are over the phone, therefore a good telephone technique along with a warm, friendly personality is essential.
Duties Include:
Answering the telephone, taking messages, booking in passengers, providing information and selling balloon flights. Admin connected to enquiries and booking, data input; keeping and maintaining up to date records of passengers, booking and enquiries. General day to day admin, filing, maintaining stationery, keeping office clean and tidy. Typing letters, enquiries, bookings and dealing with mail correspondence. all admin connected to flights, helping internet based marketing, occasional assistance at show and exhibitions.
Must have experience in the following: telephone manner, use of IT and MS Office, Multi Tasking.
Must have excellent organisational skills, accurate record keeping, ability with work under pressure and within a small team, able to build a rapport with customers/Clients
Working 30 hours per week, Mon, Tues & Thurs. Plus alternate Fridays and Saturdays.
The contract is initially for 26 weeks.
