We are currently recruiting for a Contaminated Land Site Engineer to be based within our Soil & Groundwater team in our Manchester office. 

As a Site Engineer you will assist the Senior Engineers and Consultants with site monitoring, ground investigations, land assessments, environmental engineering and remedial works for major URS clients.  You will be an enthusiastic and hard working individual with experience in siteworks and dealing with environmental impacts of siteworks. Knowledge of the following would be ideal: 

• drilling techniques/ monitoring borehole design;

• report preparation for environmental monitoring, Ph 1/II/III assessments and remediation validation.

• health and safety practice for field work;

To be considered for this role you will have experience in environmental engineering or contaminated land. A background in environmental engineering consultancy and managing health and safety for siteworks is desirable. You will be degree educated to MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant Environmental/Engineering subject. 

A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
