The Organisation:
The Technical Recruitment Company is representing a City Based FTSE 250 Facilities Services Contractor who are looking to acquire an Account Director for one of their signature contracts
The Role:
The successful applicant will be accountable for developing and enhancing the divisional business’ and its strategic approach. The focus will have emphasis on profit margins, improvement and growth and development of a proactive organisational culture. You will also have overall accountability for customer service delivery, achievement of performance goals, health and safety, and man management.
The responsibilities of the role:
Operational transition support
Encouragement of strategic business development attitudes
Appointment, support and leadership of senior and key managers
Work with other Directors to ensure cost data is current and benchmarks are in place and enhancing performance
Monitor goals, objectives and budgets
Be aware of the business continuity plan
Experience and skills:
Essential:
Educated to degree level
Excellent leadership, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Excellent team working abilities
Task focussed and goal oriented
Strong financial/commercial negotiation skills
Proven track record of strategy translation
Clear understanding of key issues in UK outsourcing market
Desirable:
Sales and Marketing experience
Masters Degree
