Account Manager - International Planning - Exceptional role! London
The role
This is a very important role within the agency as the client is their most important piece of business. Your client is a leader in luxury beauty products and the account is fast-paced and very much focused on strategic capability. As the fully-dedicated Account Manager, you will be pretty much running a category for Western Europe on a day to day basis so not only do you need to know media inside out but you also have exceptional time, team and project management skills. In addition to helping to establish regional media planning principles and counsel best practice for local markets, you will also need to engage junior/senior marketing people effectively, both client and inter-agency sides. You will be at the centre of team, working closely with the Associate Director and you will have a close knit team working with you to deliver overall strategic advice for your client. This is not an international coordination role!
Your Profile
You will have around three years media agency experience and be an established Account Manager / senior planner ready to be promoted to manager level. You will need a strong knowledge and appreciation of all media, including digital. Experience in communications planning is preferential but media planners and buyers will be considered You will have the ability to engage with senior clients and enjoy motivating and leading a team. Knowledge and expertise of the EMEA market place is not essential for this role, as long as you are passionate about planning and are excited about working on a beauty client then this could be the ideal role for you.
