Lifeline Project is one of the most established and innovative charities in the UK, with a national reputation for delivering effective and innovative work with individuals, families and communities affected by drugs or alcohol. Since its foundation in 1971 Lifeline has grown and developed in response to changing and increasing problems associated with substance use.

As part of its developing strategy, Lifeline is keen to build the capacity and capability to grow effectively in order to deliver its strategic objectives through successful business and service development.
An opportunity has arisen for an individual to work within the Northern Directorate to develop modern recovery-oriented services that reduce harm, promote recovery and challenge inequalities. The role requires an effective change manager to work on a number of vital projects across the region. The role will initially be a 12 month contract which will be subject to review after this time.
We are looking to recruit a confident, talented, driven, dynamic and resourceful individual to work within this challenging and exciting environment. We are much more interested in the skills and passion of the individual than their background.
The role has a particular emphasis on building upon the excellent progress Lifeline has made in the North this year and requires a high degree of initiative and flexibility. The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of managing change successfully
- Experience of successfully mobilizing new services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent engagement skills
- The ability to self-motivate and use initiative
- A commitment to Lifeline’s strategic direction, mission and values
