Maintenance Technician
Salary: 18,000.00 - 18,000.00 per year Location: UK-MID-Grantham

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Grantham based manufacturing company who are looking for an additional Maintenance Technician to join their team to ensure all Company facilities are maintained in fully operational and safe mode.
This is a key role within the company as this position will play an integral part in transforming the business into World Class Manufacturer within the next 3 years. This position will focus predominantly on ensuring all services and facilities are available at all times.
Duties within the role will be to:
· Ensure the site and buildings are maintained
· Ensure all equipment required by the Assembly teams is well maintained and available at all times
· Assist the Manager in ensuring external utility suppliers maintain continuity and service contracts are adhered to
· Act as emergency contact for out of hours emergency calls ensuring site security
· Ensure the Fire and Intruder alarm systems are fully operational at all times
· Manage any contractors that are required on site for maintenance or service requirements
· Assist the Manager in the timely completion of any major facility changes or equipment installations
· Ensure flexibility in terms of hours worked when maintenance activities cannot be achieved during normal hours
· Carry out PAT testing of all relevant company equipment, maintaining activity log
· Ensure all Health and Safety procedures required by the Maintenance Team are adhered to
· Maintain all documentation of equipment, systems and services to ensure Health and Safety compliance
· Carry out any welding requirement within your certification
Qualifications/Experience:
· Qualified to carry out PAT Testing
· Ideally qualified by Institute of Electrical Engineers up to 16th Edition
· Minimum of 2 years working in a Production Assembly environment
· Appropriate welding qualification (MIG)
· Plumbing qualification preferred
· Flexible and adaptable
· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
· A team player, be self disciplined and a self starter
· Health and Safety conscious
