Job description

Hays Education is working with a Doncaster Primary school who have a Year 2 Teacher job starting on Monday 13 January, on a full time basis until February 2014 half term. The school is an average size and has recently undergone extensive refurbishment. The school is in a deprived area of Doncaster, however behaviour across school is good, the children are very proud of their school and the SLT is striving for continuous improvement.

The Year 2 Teacher job is covering the possible early start on maternity leave of the current Year 2 Teacher. At present, the Year 2 Teacher will finish at February half term and the cover for their maternity leave is already in place. The school require a Year 2 Teacher to initially work alongside the current Year 2 Teacher, carrying out Team Teaching then covering the class of 28 children in the interim between the current Year 2 Teacher leaving earlier than originally planned and the start of the newly appointed Teacher at February half term.

You will be a Teacher with recent experience of teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2, will have strong behaviour management and will be fully committed to the role of class Teacher during the six week block of cover.
