Job description
Maternity Cover for minimum of 12 months.
Hours 37.5 per week, 8.30am-5.00pm Monday- Friday.
Primary role is to provide support to production supervisor in all related areas of business.
• Embroidery including the following but not exclusive to: checking garments against order, finding relevant design, setting up machine, framing garments, correct backing & placement. Running machine. Trimming Backing.
• Vinyl Print including the following but not exclusive to: Setting up design, operating vinyl cutter, weeding vinyl, applying vinyl with heat press.
• Printed signage including but not exclusive to: Setting up design, Using print plotter cutter to produce signage.
Other areas include but not exclusive to: Quality control, steaming, folding, bagging/packing Clothing.
And all related paper work – Delivery notes, Purchase orders, sales orders and Checklists.
Responsible for keeping area clean & tidy.
There will times when you will be required to help in other departments and a good working attitude is a must with a willingness to learn and help others.
Previous experience of Embroidery/bespoke production is beneficial but not compulsory, as well as an amenable manner, good attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
