Senior Business Architect - Central London

We are a high profile and leading organisation within our field based in Victoria, Central London. As a business we are undergoing an ambitious Transformation Programme re-shaping our approach to the services we deliver.

This brand new Senior Business Architect role will be responsible for the definition and implementation of a new target operating model (TOM) both organisationally and at an a group level. This exciting new position will work with Senior Management (COO level) to determine and implement these TOM's and equally to look at supporting systems to ensure data driven approach to delivery, accountability and corporate performance reporting. We are ideally looking for a candidate that worked with similar large scale projects (ideally around the 1,000 plus user mark).

We are looking for someone to take the Programme Office and Enterprise Architecture to the next level, transforming into a strategic portfolio planning function. You will also assist in the role definition and recruitment of team members to ensure the following implementation, architecture blueprints will be maintained and delivered against.

Senior Business Architect key responsibilities:

Develop a business architecture strategy based on situational awareness based on various business scenarios and motivations
Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology
Capture the tactical and strategic business goals that provide traceability through the organisation
Enumerate, analyse, catalogue and suggest improvements to the strategic, core and support process of each area to support strategic and operational goals
Determine the overall target operating model and supporting area operational models
The Senior Business Architect role breaks down as follows:

Business Architecture (70%)
Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management (20%)
Enterprise Architecture (10%)
You should have the following skills:

A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, process and capabilities, enabling technologies and governance
The ability to recognise structural issues within the organisation
Ability to apply architectural principles, methods, and tools to business challenges
To create and visualise high-level models that can be used in future analysis
A track record of organisational design or senior business architecture
Full life cycle architectural experience of leading the development of an enterprise wide model
Excellent communication skills where you have dealt at the highest level
Been involved in working in large scale organisations (ideally around the 1,000 plus mark)
