Job description

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Female Qur'an Teacher, reliable and resourceful person who has a knowledge in Tajweed (theoretical and practical) with the ability to help children to pronounce their Arabic letters correctly .

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills. They will have a calm and friendly manner and will be able to interact in a professional manner with children, parents, staff, trustees and contractors.

Main Duties

 1) Teaching to girls aged 5 and above in accordance with Islamic manners,

moral, social, political and educational values.

2) To teach following subjects: recitation of the Holy Qur’an(with Tajweed),

Islamic Studies and Urdu language.

3) To participate in the preparation, delivery and evaluation of Madrassah

 education programmes.

 4) Ensure that the teaching methods are used which are in accordance with

 Islamic principles and values.

5). Ensure pupils are taught Islamic ‘adhabs’ manners and principles at all time during the Madrassah hours.

6). Adopt various teaching methods to facilitate learning and development of children’s personality.

7). Maintain discipline and control of pupils in the class room

8). Ensure physical class room environment is clean, tidy and in accordance with

Madrassah guidelines.

 9). To ensure compliance with Madrassah policies e.g. child protection, pupils behaviour strategy, staffing, curriculum etc.

10) To attend staff meetings arranged by lead teacher/staff/education committee

members.

11). To fully participate in preparation, delivery and evaluation of children’s functions.

12). To assist lead teacher/ lead administrator with developments of the Madrassah
