A Lichfield based secondary school are seeking to appoint a qualified Citizenship teacher with an in-depth knowledge of the UK school curriculum. They require an individual who is experienced in teaching citizenship at KS3 and KS4.

The school are looking for an individual that can 'hit the ground running' and has strong classroom management skills. The pupils at this school benefit from positive relationships from their teachers. Their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is actively promoted within an enriched curriculum and by the ethos of the school. The right candidate would be someone who could become a strong and active member of the school.

The post is to start January 2014 on a full time temporary basis so commitment is essential.

We are looking for an individual who:

* Holds UK qualified teachers status (QTS/ QTLS)

* Holds UK recognised teaching qualification (BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE etc)

* Has excellent communication skills

* Has strong classroom management skills

* Has high expectations of themselves and their students

* Has the capacity to teach Citizenship to key stage 3 and 4.
