Job description
Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust operates across two main sites at Queen’s and King George hospitals. The Trust serves a population of around 700,000, from a wide range of social and ethnic groups, making it one of the largest acute hospital trusts in England.
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Basic Grade Trust (SHO level) doctor in General Medicine. The appointee will work with a specified Consultant at our Queens Hospital Site. .
The appointee will join the General Medicine Team and will rotate alongside the Training Doctors. This post will provide an excellent opportunity for educational development in General Medicine. This post is banded at 1B and participates in the medicine on-call rota.
The successful applicants will have proven experience in a full time hospital service, and have a wide range of experience. Full GMC Registration is essential
1. The person applying must have MRCP or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 2 year’s full time hospital service in SHO or higher grades
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
All applicants will be required to demonstrate a working knowledge of the English language.
