Nesta’s Policy and Research Team has a strong record of producing research that sets the agenda for government policy. We measure innovation and the role of innovation policy in fostering economic growth. This research work will explore how innovation can have an impact on social goals such as addressing social needs and challenges, society’s capability to act, improving participation, political decision-making and access to useful knowledge.  

You will bring specialist research and policy expertise to lead the design and development of the research dimensions of the Centre for Social Action. Working with the extended team you will create insightful, compelling and actionable research and policy advice, as well as leading on external projects that are commissioned to support the Centre and the Innovation in Giving Fund.

An outstanding communicator with superb research skills, you’ll also need to be a strong collaborative worker with the ability to present your findings clearly and succinctly. A relevant postgraduate-level qualification would be a strong advantage.
