We are currently seeking Self Employed Attending Officers to become part of a highly motivated and committed network of individuals, possessing a wide range of skills within customer care, fine enforcement and debt collection.
You will be engaged for field based debt collection services, as part of which you will be required to carry out debt recovery including visiting customers in order to deliver notifications and recover debts (speeding tickets, rent/council tax) owed to our client (Government Agencies). You will provide a customer focused service at all times and establish ways to pay the debt but still ensuring vulnerable customers are given assistance where necessary.
Skills and Experience
Ideally you may have experience in the following: Debt collection/Debt Recovery/ Bailiff/Field Sales/Warrant Enforcement or looking for a new challenge.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (negotiation, persuasive, empathetic).
* Highly organised
* Customer-focussed
* Driven & self motivated
* This is a target driven role where you will be required to work independently
* Confident
* Numerate
* Experience in dealing with extremely difficult customers in a self sufficient manner as part of field based work force will be advantageous
* The position is subject to CRB and CCJ check.
* A full driving licence is essential for this role
