Internal Communications Officer Location: Solihull Temporary assignment ongoing Pay rate: 12.62 per hour 35 hours per week The Internal Communications Officer will be working within a UK government agency concerned mainly with rivers, flooding, and pollution and will be responsible for creating newsletters, team briefs and informal communications. This is a challenging and varied role and the person will need to have strong communication skills including written ability. Working closely with the Senior Management team it is essential that the Communications Officer has the ability to influence and communicate with a wide range of audiences. The key skills and experience required for the role of Communications Officer: Previous experience of designing and producing internal communications is desirable. Excellent grammatical and spelling ability, a degree in Journalism, PR/Marketing would be desirable. An interest in Environmental issues would be useful. Intermediate level IT skills including PowerPoint, Word and Graphics packages.
