Guardian News and Media (GNM) are looking to recruit an experienced Network Engineer to provide design, installation, troubleshooting and support across a range of equipment for the company networks.
This role will be responsible for the stability and availability of network infrastructure, all security, monitoring and reporting and the implementation of network and Firewall configurations. The Network Engineer will also be tasked with recommending and participating in the implementation of routine hardware and software upgrades and will be required to perform maintenance and upgrades.
You must have strong routing knowledge including, but not limited to OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP and strong switching skills including, but not limited to VLANs, Trunking, Spanning Tree, VRF, DMVPN, InterVLAN Routing. It is essential that you have Knowledge of datacenter technologies and best practices and that you have the ability to work in a structured way under pressure in an ever changing environment.
