Our client, an international development trust awarding travel grants to British Citizens for a wide range of projects, is currently looking to recruit an experienced and proactive Administrative Assistant to join their small and busy team.
Responsible for the smooth and effective running of the office, this varied role will include acting as first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors to the office, ensuring stocks are well maintained and providing assistance with the annual grant application process. Utilising previous experience in maintaining databases, the post holder will process travel expenses for approval for the Trust Secretary and input full fundraising data including donations and donor information onto the Salesforce database. Alongside these responsibilities, the successful applicant will work closely with the PR Manager to implement the annual publicity cycle, distribute press releases and assist with the organisation of any events held by the Trust.
This exciting opportunity requires an individual with a strong administrative background and the ability to manage a diverse workload. Polite and approachable with excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be confident in dealing with a wide range of individuals and be able to integrate easily as a member of the team. Responsible for Health and Safety at work, you will ideally have previous experience in this area as well as some accountancy knowledge. Previous charitable experience would be an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to further their knowledge and experience within an interesting organisation.
