Salary £50,000 plus benefits . We are working in partnership with a global company based in Brighton. The International Marketing Manager role is a 12 month contract (Maternity leave). Managing a team of 8 campaign executives this role will be responsible for developing and delivering campaigns across international markets. This includes direct and indirect integrated communications programmes to maximise topline growth across all regions. This role is also directly accountable for generating acquisition and retention activity for the business, needing a commercial and analytical approach.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and implement fully integrated marketing communication plans for all regions to meet specific commercial targets
- Working with Global Proposition colleagues, generate consumer, market and business insights relevant to the region to trigger marketing communication activities that drive awareness of and interest in the proposition team
- Lead and optimise regional marketing agency support including media planning and buying, creative, digital resources, PR and events.
- Accountable for delivering to briefs, against KPIs and within budget.
- Management and reporting for ongoing campaigns.
- Support Head of Proposition Delivery in integrating and optimising all regional marketing activity globally
- Responsible for the day to day people management of the team including holiday and sickness as well as performance management.
- Manage the performance, conduct and attendance of all team members. Review the objectives and competencies for all team members on a monthly basis, to enable the team to achieve and exceed agreed objectives.
- Where relevant work with third-party or sister organisations to develop and deliver regional marketing.
- Monitoring the commercial performance of propositions in market, specifically ROI, and developing improvement plans as necessary.
- Where relevant be the business sponsor or lead on projects relevant to the region to ensure cross functional delivery of the project.
What you will need:
- Degree level education, ideally relevant post graduate Marketing Qualification. With proven experience in a strategic marketing or planner role, with strong agency management skills
- Experience working in an international marketing environment focusing upon acquisition and retention activities.
- Experience writing and delivering a multi-faceted 360 marketing communications plan.
- A solid background in people management experience, ideally with experience in managing across different sites and time zones.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience of building/handling business cases. Confident user of MS Excel
- Experience of and confidence in tackling both strategic and tactical challenges.
