Commercial Buying Manager Role Description:

The Rewards Sourcing Manager is responsible for purchasing and sourcing a variety of rewards/products that are suitable for FMCG branded loyalty platforms. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Within this role the following aspects will need to be covered: 

> Planning ranges
> Product research
> Stock management and forecasting
> Pricing and margins
> Supplier management 
> Having a great understanding of consumer
> Knowledge of print is an advantage

The reward mix that needs to be sourced contains a mixture of physical items such as books, toiletries, DVD’s, some of which are branded, and non-physical rewards which includes consumer offers and trials. 

Other responsibilities and qualities include:

> An understanding of promotional partnerships 
> The ability to sell the value of opportunities to potential new reward providers 
> Relationship building whether with clients/ brands, suppliers and factories or with promotional partnerships
> The ability to listen to objectives and requirements, understand them and deliver results
