The Head Teacher and SENCo of my client school are keen to appoint an exceptional graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant for the Summer Term.
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be specifically responsible for providing support to three Reception age (5-6 yrs) pupils with Special Educational Needs including Autism and Attachment Disorder.
The SLT are keen to appoint a Psychology, Sociology or Linguistics graduate with a passion for Special Needs and a desire to really get involved in all aspects of the school. Graduates from other subjects who have prior experience of working with SEN will also be considered.
This post would suit someone who can effectively demonstrate that they are able to:
-          work under the direction of, and in partnership with, the class teacher
-          be flexible, adaptable and versatile and pick things up quickly
-          be a team player who goes the extra mile and can fit into any team
-          uses their initiative and is proactive in carrying out their duties 
You will need to be able to commit to full-time work during term-time starting after Easter and continuing until the end of the academic year in July. The school are interviewing during w/c 8th April and the successful candidate will be expected to take up post immediately.
