Applications are invited for the post of Catering Shift Leader in Campus Services.
At Royal Holloway, we provide in excess of 2,500 meals daily in 10 outlets produced from 3 kitchens for students and staff during term time. In addition we cater for conferences during vacations and have a busy function and banqueting business all year round.
The role will include assisting with the day to day management of both term time and vacation business. During the terms, your role will be to assist the catering team with the running of a large food hall style operation, coffee shop and creative space, with the role during the vacation focusing on Conferences and Events. You will be expected to lead your team in driving the business forward and delivering the best to our customers, ensuring the highest quality service and standards.
The ideal candidate must have experience; but we will take into account your passion for the business. Applicants will need good communication skills and the ability to work using their initiative and passion to contribute to a successful operation. You must have high standards and be willing to work hard as part of a team.
This is a full time and permanent post, immediately available or as soon as possible thereafter. This post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
