Job description
Job purpose, key responsibilities and accountabilities: Make Peoples Day.
Assist in the opening, running and closing, of the kitchen in accordance with company standards, and
health & safety legislation.
Promote good morale, the Ways of Woodhouse and a passion for the business.
Act as a brand ambassador for the company portraying a professional image at all times whilst in any
Hall & Woodhouse premises.
Maintain the highest level of personal health and hygiene at all times.
Provide assistance to the Head Chef to help ensure the smooth running of the food service operations.
Assist all kitchen team members during a normal shift routine.
Ensure procedures and schedules are followed for cleaning and sanitising the wash up area and food
preparation/storage areas, and ensure that any equipment is clean and maintained.
Ensure that all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and cooking implements are cleaned to the highest
standards.
Assist in the smooth running of the kitchen during service, communicating with the On-stage
team regularly.
Be aware of, and follow, emergency, safety and first aid procedures.
Attend team meetings and training sessions to develop relevant skills and knowledge.
