Researcher / Information Specialist

We are looking for a Researcher / Information Specialist, to join our client, a global private equity firm, based in Munich.

The role:

- Provide high quality business research services to our client's investment & operation teams worldwide

- Respond to requests for information on a wide range of company, industry, economic, M&A, private equity, biographical and financial topics in a timely & appropriate manner

- Synthesize search results into concise, targeted research for end users

Required candidate skills:

- In-depth knowledge of database search methods and excellent judgment of information quality

- Ability to work independently and methodically in a supportive environment

- Ability to think laterally and creatively around research problems

- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to think a few steps ahead

- Preferable to have market research experience in the telecommunication, media, healthcare, financial services, retail and/or renewable energy sectors and exposure to some financial analysis

- Strong working knowledge of Bloomberg, Creditreform, Datamonitor, Dealogic, Factiva, FactSet, Forrester, Frost & Sullivan, Gartner, Genios/GBI, Global Insight,  mergermarket, Onesource, Profound, Preqin, S&P Capital IQ, ThomsonReuters/ThomsonOne
