A leading trade publishing company in Oxford has an opening for a junior designer to join their busy team. This role will be perfect for someone looking to build on existing design experience.
Key duties:
  • Layout and artwork for publications across a wide range of titles
  • Produce print ready files to established specifications
  • Work closely with editorial and operations staff
  • Design promotional materials and other high quality visuals
  • Create artwork for insides/covers as required
  • Provide additional support to the Head of Design as required
Experience / skills required:
  • Experience in InDesign CS5 or 6 and working within an XML workflow are essential
  • Familiarity of working on a range of print and digital material from mono to 4x1 and four colour
  • The ability to work within an established set of styles
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • A background in trade publishing design is preferred
