Band 5, anticipated starting salary circa £33,000 per annum plus benefits dependent on skills and experience
This is an exciting opportunity to join the regulator of the Bar of England and Wales. It is expected the successful candidate will take up the post in September 2013.
Reporting to the Knowledge and Information Manager and accountable to the Head of Strategy and Communications, you will assist in providing research evidence and information primarily to support the successful delivery of the Bar Standards Board’s regulatory objectives. Some support to Bar Council projects is also provided, as agreed from time to time.
Based from the central office in Holborn, the role will provide a research and information service directly to approximately 80 employees and a number of committees.
The successful candidate will be experienced in carrying out research projects and data analysis and will be responsible for organising the department’s electronic files and paper records so that they can respond to information requests from internal and external sources.
As a minimum, applicants should be educated to degree level and preferably should have a Research Methods or Library/Information Science qualification.
