Job Title:                            Cleaner

Main Purpose:              To clean the designated area of the Clubhouse to a standard required by the Club.

Job Location:              The Clubhouse at North Wales Golf Club.

Supervisor:              The Cleaning Shift Supervisor (in his/her absence the Steward or Secretary)

Responsibilities:              To clean all public areas, lounge & restaurant, snooker room,  ladies’ & gents’ locker rooms, office and Committee Room, Visitors & Junior locker rooms.  To advise your Supervisor of any defects found whilst cleaning.  To ensure that adequate supplies of toiletries are in place in the locker rooms and to advise your supervisor of the requirement for more cleaning supplies.  To ensure the cleaning supplies are locked in the appropriate cupboard/store. You must make sure you are fully aware of all health & Safety regulations and have read and understood the Club’s Health & Safety Policy

Duties:              To carry out the cleaning tasks as directed in the daily and weekly cleaning routines.  Carry out any other duties and tasks as agreed by your supervisor from time to time.

Authority              You must report immediately to your supervisor any deficiencies
Discretion              in equipment or stock being used  and only order under their instruction.  Only Cleaning Materials from the designated supplier may be used in accordance with the COSHH sheets supplied.  All hazards or risks must be reported to your supervisor immediately.

Liaison:              You will be expected to liaise with all Club Staff  and members, guests and visitors alike.

Targets:              Your work will be assessed annually by your supervisor and your proficiency and standards will be taken into account in any salary awards.  You may be expected to attend training courses from time to time for example when new equipment is introduced.

Conditions:              You must be aware of your requirements under the Club Health & Safety Policy and wear protective clothing as and when required/directed to do so.

TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE :-

1.  5 mornings Tuesday to Saturday 7am to 9am
                                    or
2.  3 mornings Saturday to Monday 7am to 9am
