Job description
An opportunity has arisen for an Engineer to come and work within a busy engineering department in a demanding production environment, ensuring that all factory machinery and infrastructure are regularly maintained and in full working order. Main tasks include: daily checks on priority plant and preventative plant maintenance, assessing and repairing breakdowns and reviewing and developing procedures, control of stock and parts including selecting, purchasing and installing new machinery, supervision and training of Engineering Assistants and external contractors. The ideal candidate should be multi-skilled with strong electrical and strong mechanical skills, a good team player who has the ability to work using their own initiative.
