Specialist Teaching Assistant (Hearing Impaired), (£19,621 - £21,519), Pro Rata,Term Time Only, 32.5 hours pw. Required for April 2013
The Trustees at this small, successful 7-18 school are seeking to appoint a well-motivated, committed and enthusiastic professional to join the staff team.
Initially the position will involve supporting a year 6 pupil and preparing for the transition of a year 3 pupil to the school, working with the SENCo, class teacher and specialist professionals, e.g. teachers of the deaf.
A qualification at, or working towards, BSL Level 2 and experience in supporting children with a hearing impairment would be advantageous. In addition, you will have good literacy and numeracy skills.
