Job description

Hours of work: 37.5 per week, Days of work: Monday - Friday, Work include: Days, Start Date: ASAP

This role is to provide a wide range of HR administrative duties within a busy transactional HR department. The successful candidate will have day to day management of their own duties in addition to providing administrative support to HR Advisors within the business. This position will support the Offshore HR Team with Offshore Administration. The position reports to the Senior HR Business Partner with day to day direction being provided by the HR Advisory team.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 * Responsible for the administration and preparation of contracts of employment and associated documentation for new hires, promotions, amendments, salary changes
 * Processing of leavers including all relevant documentation
 * Inputting and maintaining information in SAP and conducting various audits to ensure accuracy of data
 * Absence management including the logging and tracking of absence. Liaising with Occupational Health provider to arrange medicals as required.
 * Assisting with Payroll queries as and when they arise for offshore employees
 * Note taking at Disciplinary and Grievance meetings where requested and collation of relevant documentation
 * Ad-hoc reporting as requested
 * Filing, Scanning, photocopying and document control
 * Maintaining Performance Management database
 * Organising meetings, departmental events and employee consultations
 * Any other duties as required
Good standard of education 
Specified Qualifications for position:  Desirable: HND/HNC Business Administration or equivalent
Skills 
Technical (including IT):
Essential: Competent in Microsoft Office
Desirable: Knowledge of SAP

Interpersonal:
Essential: Candidates should be in possession of excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills and display a good team work ethic.

Self-Management:

Essential: Proven ability to multitask and ensure effective delivery of priorities to meet operational demands. Candidates should also be able to work without direct supervision and to solve problems using own initiative.

Experience: 
Essential: Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous experience in an Administration role where communication skills are key.
Desirable: Experience within an HR environment dealing with offshore employees would be desirable.

Knowledge:

Essential: Good understanding of Administration and Human Resources policies and processes.
