Job description
We are a successful event management company based in Rotherham near to Meadowhall looking to recruit an accounts administrator to assist our existing bookkeeper. You will be working for the parent company but will spend time working on four businesses within the group. Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts is essential and you must be extremely well organised and have an eye for detail. You will need to be a focal point for client and supplier contact and the sales and purchase ledger will be an important part of the role.
Candidates for this role should have previous experience as an account administrator with knowledge of office systems and procedures. Strong IT skills are essential especially of Sage and Microsoft Office, coupled with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads to ensure all deadlines are met. Experience of pre payments and working with voucher or suspense accounts is advantageous.
Role Requirements

· Company invoicing
· Sales and purchase ledger
· Balancing client accounts
· Credit control
· BACS payments
· Bank and credit card reconciliation
· Event contracts and payment
· Processing event expenses and event reconciliation
· Sage Payroll experience would be advantageous
· Other ad hoc admin duties as required
Location: Sheffield / Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Salary: £15000 per annum
Hours: 37 ½ hours over a five day week
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
20 days holiday plus statutory
