Our client, based in the Walsall, is looking for a HR and Training Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for 3 – 6 months with the view to become permanent. The ideal candidate will be CPP qualified and have previous experience within a HR environment.
 Duties will include:
 * Supporting the HR function in delivering people services strategy
* Assisting with the day-to-day Human Resources administration activities which include employment, L&D, benefits, employee relations, recruitment and selection
* Advising managers and employees on HR policy and procedures
* Ensuring local working instructions are updated and followed effectively; creating efficiencies within the administration processes across the HR function
* Effectively managing administration in accordance with the service level agreement
* Resolving problems and queries acting on own initiative and as first line support
* Managing the weekly and monthly payroll which is an end-to-end process in partnership with payroll providers and will also include identifying any pay issues are escalated and resolved accordingly
* Managing the people services and recruitment mailboxes ensuring all emails and queries are dealt with or responded to in line with SLA
* Administering the companies training and education plans, ensuring training is organised in line with requirements and certification
* Managing internal and external training activities; liaising with third parties concerning training, apprenticeship and grant related matters
* Ensuring HR systems are accurate and promptly updated, including the electronic database, at risk register, fixed term contracts and any outstanding documents
* Maintaining HR records, both paper and electronically ensuring audit requirements are met
* Producing and contributing to management reports and HR statistical reports, including the KPI and board reports

This post will be paying between £19,000 and £21,000 per annum pro rata dependent on experience and will be starting at the end of April. Hours of work will be 8.45am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
