Working nights means taking on special responsibility for service and security as well as being friendly and welcoming. As night porter you will need to be able to deal with luggage and room service, licenced to drive the hotel minibus and versatile enough to deal with cleaning and cashing handling and anything that comes your way.
You must ideally be someone with similar experience of working in a high quality luxury hotel. Must have good customer service experience, be friendly with a can-do attitude, neat, tidy and efficient, can work well within a team as well as independently, excellent communication skills and good with IT and a clean driving licence,
Duties and responsibilities are setting up meetings and events rooms, ensure compliance of brand standards, to keep the front of house area clean and tidy and undertake any duties as specified by management. Able to work in all areas of the hotel including bar, restaurant, room service, conference and events. Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner, follow cash handling procedures as required, manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner and comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
