Research Consultant-Client side 

This is an excellent client-side opportunity to join an educational awarding body. Our client is looking for a Senior Researcher to contribute to the achievement of their strategic and commercial objectives. As a senior researcher you will develop and manage the company’s thought leadership and research programme to raise awareness and increase the company’s profile with internal and external stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of the company’s thought-leadership research programme, including projects undertaken through third parties 

• Conduct primary research including developing questionnaires and producing analysis of survey data 

• Manage data collection. 

• Write summary reports for selected research projects 

• Manage report production process via external design agency to deliver high-quality published reports 

• Researching and drafting research proposals 

• Identify sources of funding and/or strategic partners for proposed research projects, where required.

• Manage communications, timetables and papers for research advisory panels 

• Undertake occasional internal research projects 

• To maintain awareness of emerging business trends and management thinking. 

The ideal candidate will have strategic objectives and agreed KPIs which they will be directly responsible for achieving. And be aware of the media and brand growths. 

Key characteristics: 

• Must be qualified to degree level or equivalent. 

• Good knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodology. 

• Must demonstrate interest in management and leadership issues. 

• Strong analytical skills and ability to develop business insights. 

• Ability to work independently without supervision to achieve targets 

• Ability to create and maintain high quality internal and external relationships

• Confident to discuss management and leadership issues with a range of stakeholders on the telephone or at meetings and events 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills including proofing skills.
