Our client is part of the leading mental health charity that aims to improve the mental health of people living in the local area, and to assist people experiencing mental health distress on their journey of recovery.
Horticulture Project Manager
Location: Dudley and Wyre Forest
Hours: 18.75 per week
Salary: £22,000 per annum pro rata
Our client is aiming to develop a horticulture project to be run primarily as a therapeutic activity for people who experience mental health problems but also to improve community wellbeing for all. They will also seek to develop opportunities to volunteer, work and train in horticulture.
They are seeking a Project Manager with a background in horticulture and a sound understanding of the issues and effects of mental ill health. You will be responsible for planning, promoting and delivering the project.
Do you have:
Experience of managing a successful horticulture project?
Work and or/lived experience of mental ill health?
Experience of researching, planning and setting up a new service?
Excellent communication skills?
The confidence to build up new relationships and networks?
Enthusiasm and self-motivation to develop and maintain the project?
