We are working on behalf of well established and very busy client who specialise in traditional foundry in the south of Sheffield.
Duties will include assisting with all furnace operations including fettling and general labouring in a safe and efficient manner, Using small hands tools and heavy lifting.
All applicants must have foundry experience or experience in a heavy engineering environment and previous knowledge of furnace operations and the work that goes with it.
Shifts will vary and candidates much be flexible with working hours as the can change from days and night depending on requirements. This role is on an ongoing and long term contact basis.
