Job description

Department & Job Description
We are currently looking for talented individuals with the right skills & flexibility, to work on our merchandising division.Candidates will possess a good all round knowledge of retail merchandising ideally gained from a background within the Health and Beauty sector.  Experience in using planograms, merchandising products, & systems would be an important and desirable attribute.  Roles we are looking to fill include basic merchandiser, merchandiser driver and Team Leader.
Further training, development and assessment will provide progression to more senior posts.  A full valid driving licence is not essential but would be advantageous.

Roles and responsibilities
·         Merchandise & replenish shelves using planograms in the timescales directed by team leader.
·         Profile shelving, install equipment & implement display options to a high standard.
·         Use initiatives to problem solve and suggest resolutions when encountering barriers.
·         Lifting and manual handling up to 25 kilos may be involved and additional training will be offered where needed.
·         Cleaning and maintaining equipment and general housekeeping

·         Flexible attitude towards working patterns/shifts
·         Work is on Temporary basis, this could consist of on-going projects on days, nights and weekends
·         We aim to keep work regionalised however you may sometimes be expected to travel across the UK and offshore and to stay away from home.
·         Accommodation will be provided on a shared basis
·         Uniform, vehicles and PPE will be issued when appropriate by the company
·         Pay will be processed on a weekly basis, one week in arrears
·         Pay rates are varied, based on a set grading structure and skill.

Successful candidates will be issued a temporary ‘Terms of Engagement’ contract if you are successful and for the avoidance of doubt, these Terms of Engagement shall not give rise to a contract of employment between the Company and the Temporary Worker, or the Client and the Temporary Worker. It is the intention of the parties that the Temporary Worker will not be an employee.
