We are searching for a Business Strategist who will be responsible for producing and leading on elements of OCR’s 5 year strategy. The post holder will be responsible for advising management on key opportunities and threats and the evaluation of risk in order to ensure that the company strategy remains fit for purpose in a way that complements the organisations ethics and values and secures long term financial sustainability. Working with colleagues throughout the business the market strategist needs experience of strategy production and implementation, managing multiple projects, excellent communication skills and strong analytical and thinking skills.
The successful candidate will form part of a close team of strategists who are in the process of redefining their position within the business to ensure added value and impact. The team work collectively to provide market analysis and insight as well as scenario planning and horizon scanning. The successful candidate will have strong research and analysis skills, and commercial awareness. Knowledge of the UK education sector would be beneficial.
OCR is in a period of rapid change as it responds to internal drivers and external market forces. The post holder will need to be highly motivated, adept at problem framing and adaptive to new experiences and ideas
